We'll discuss your prompt before payment and whether it is something that fits. I won't be sending out updates (except for notifying you when it is finished) and there won't be opportunities for adjustment in this commission scenario. I will be adjusting my effort proportionally to the complexity of the prompt (more complex = less detailed). Overall this will be an illustration on the level of examples above. If you want a greater degree of control over the drawing and your complex idea, consider a regular commission.
I specialize in dark atmosphere and weird monsters presented in a grounded and dramatic way, but I'm certainly not limited to it. I've got quite a range of experience already, from bugs to cute yuri, and I'm open to trying new things. Do check out my portfolio if you haven't already and feel free to ask for whatever you'd like to see in my execution.
Abstract or concrete backgrounds, dynamic or interactive scenes, multiple characters/creatures/subjects and simple animation are all possible, but pricier than a static drawing of single subject. Additional variants / iterations of the same subject (e. g. two sides of the same character for a reference sheet) are usually 1+1=1.5 in terms of price increase, instead of 1+1=2. No hard limits on the subject itself beyond hate content (I won't draw hate or offensive content). Suggestive and NSFW topics possible. If you aren't sure, feel free to ask :)
I reserve the right to refuse requests for topics that are uncomfortable for me or with demands that poorly fit my strengths, and also to refuse a commission request for any or no reason in particular.
Before payment we'll discuss what exactly it is you want. It can be a written description, but I'll also very much appreciate:
If you are looking for an illustration in general, we might not even bring up the more technical pixelart details. But if you are looking for sprites with specific constaints (for twitch, discord or a game, for example), I expect you to know the dimensions, the color count that you need, etc. If you are asking for sprites for a game, I'd ask you to explain why you want to commission me specifically (someone with quite a distinct style/specialization) - there is a lot scam/hacking attempts in this format lately, so please don't be vague about your game. Of course, if your game isn't already public and speaking for itself in this regard.
After we've discussed your request and agreed upon a price, payment is upfront through my Patreon. You subscribe to the "Commission" tier, change the pledge to the price we've agreed upon and, after I confirm the payment, cancel your subscription (so that you won't be automatically charged next month). I'll be happy to help with this procedure if you have any trouble.
NOTE: a recent Patreon update seems to limit the method above to a 20$ increase, so the alternative is to create a custom pledge. When you make the payment, let me know which method worked for you so that I can update this page.

How long will it take for you to respond to my request?
Within 24 hours is a good estimate. Considering timezones and life in general, same goes for further replies. I'll let you know if I can't take on your commission at the moment - in that case we might still discuss the details and the price of your request anyway, and then agree on whether you'd like me to reach out later when I have the time.
How long will it take to be finished?
Depending on complexity, you can expect an illustration to be finished within 2-3 weeks in general, certainly less for smaller sprites. I work in bursts and may work on several things in parallel - so it might turn out faster than this, but for non-commercial commissions without a negotiated deadline this is the general timeframe.
Can I find out how are things going with my commission?
After I start working, every few days or at least once a week I will be sending out updates on how it's going, starting with the first sketch. Sometimes I might offer alternative sketches or ask for clarification.
Can I request adjustments?
Progress updates are your opportunities to comment on things you'd like to be adjusted as I continue. Keep in mind that things solidify in this order:
composition and pose -> elements and proportions -> details -> colors
That is, at the detailing stage I will no longer make significant pose changes (without additional payment), while colors, for example, can be adjusted almost anytime. These aren't rigid stages, so, if you aren't sure, feel free to ask about whether a particular change is possible.
Are refunds possible?
No. You've examined my previous work and entrusted me with your request, and I will do my best to match that trust proportionally to the payment.
Deadlines?
Commissions with short deadlines are pricier. If you need your commission within a week or less, please request another artist.
In what form will you provide the final result?
An upscaled .png for posting, a .png at the original resolution, and the working .aseprite file as a bonus, all in a google drive folder. I don't delete these folders, so don't be in a hurry to download (but do download them).
How can use the commissioned drawing?
I do not permit to use my drawings for genAI training, to modify them via genAI or to use them in projects that include AI-generated elements.
Other than that, for non-commercial drawings - in any non-commercial way you want. Credit is appreciated. For non-commercial commissions, I'd like to post the final result on my socials and tag you when applicable.
For commercial commissions - we negotiate the license you need (and the corresponding price that depends on the capacity of your enterprise) at the beginning. I do not allow my drawings to be sold as NFTs.
